In addition to Cowater’s Flush Tank and Haul system for rural villages, Cowater has developed relationships with a number of suppliers of other water and sanitation products and is an agent for some.

  This company provides two product lines which are often the solution for problems in Alaska. See these products on Saniflo’s Macerating Toilets and Pumps.

• 

  Flushmate is a division of Sloan Valve Company. Their Flushmate IV pressure-asssit technology uses only 1 gallon of water per flush (3.8 liters). This compares with 1.6 gallon per flush for normal toilets. This provides large savings in water required where water is scarce. This technology is available in many toilet models.

• Steam Generator

  For thawing out frozen pipes or tanks on the FTH system. See the Steam Generator cut sheet.

• Waterless Urinal

  Waterless urinals do not require water for flushing and sanitation. They save money by reducing the amount of water used in a building or in a community. In Alaskan villages waterless urinals may be a logical choice for public buildings and meeting places. They are simple, easy to install and easy to maintain.
